In 1993 the most powerful Mercedes-Benz Truck with more than 500 HP, was introduced as the « EUROCAB » with a raised roof cabin. Equipped with the same cab, two more engine versions are available, 380 HP and 435 HP. Contrary to many other truck manufacturers, most part assemblies such as transmission, engine etc. are produced by Mercedes in house. Power source is a V-8 turbo-charged Diesel engine, 14.6 l, with an output of up to 503 HP. Despite of its high roof, the EUROCAB features a roof spoiler to reduce fuel costs to a minimum. 這台義大利的朋馳EUROCAB卡車稍微做了中度改裝,增加了品項有:頭燈與霧燈改良、前保險桿增加擋泥板、前輪換成385/65 R22.5寬胎、排氣管延長增加防燙版、第三軸的輪拱蓋換新版本並降低高度、車尾改裝、車體兩側增加護板、更換變速箱以及車門可開啟。原本的改裝設計裡包含了燈光效果,但是很不幸的,電線選的太細加上線路非常繁雜,單獨系統亮燈沒問題,全系統運作時發生異常導致線路燒斷以至於拍照就沒拍亮燈時的照片,非常可惜
The Italeri MERCEDES-BENZ EUROCAB truck underwent some moderate modifications, including improvements to the headlights and fog lights, the addition of mud flaps on the front bumper, switching the front wheels to 385/65 R22.5 wide tires, extending the exhaust pipe with a heat shield, replacing and lowering the height of the wheel arch covers on the third axle, modifying the rear end, adding side protection panels to the vehicle body, replacing the gearbox and door open modification .
The original modification design included lighting effects, but unfortunately, the chosen wires were too thin, and the wiring was very complex. While individual lighting worked fine, there was an issue when the entire system was in operation, leading to an abnormality that caused the wires to burn out, resulting in the absence of photos taken with the lights on. Extremely regrettable :(
Il camion MERCEDES-BENZ EUROCAB di Italeri ha subito alcune modifiche moderate, tra cui miglioramenti ai fari e ai fendinebbia, l'aggiunta di parafanghi anteriori, la sostituzione delle ruote anteriori con pneumatici larghi da 385/65 R22.5, l'estensione del tubo di scarico con uno schermo termico, la sostituzione e l'abbassamento dell'altezza dei copriruota sull'asse posteriore, la modifica della parte posteriore, l'aggiunta di pannelli di protezione laterali al corpo del veicolo, la sostituzione del cambio e la modifica delle porte.
Il progetto originale di modifica includeva effetti di illuminazione, ma sfortunatamente i fili scelti erano troppo sottili e il cablaggio era molto complesso. Sebbene l'illuminazione individuale funzionasse bene, c'era un problema quando l'intero sistema era in funzione, causando un'anomalia che faceva bruciare i fili, con conseguente assenza di foto scattate con le luci accese. Estremamente regrettabile :(
